Is homosexuality, a taboo?

There are several love stories out of the social norms. In my view, there is no gender preference for love and affection. A woman might fall in love with a guy. A woman may even fall in love with another woman. At the same time a man will fall in love with another man. It can be a friendship, a relationship, or a relationship with homosexual relationships. We use various meanings for this type of relationship.

A gay women or a homosexual woman is called a "lesbian," a homosexual man is called a "gay" person, people are "bisexual" to both genders, and there is a transgender community too. Therefore the first thing we must accept is that a person's sexual identity can be different and that we can value all sorts of gender preferences, not just the "straight" community.

Living in a South Asian country like Sri Lanka, the society is not willing to welcome the LGBT community because of their social norms. The majority of society tends to spread resentment and hatred towards the LGBT community, which is a terrible scenario. People should see this from a positive point of view, or else homosexual person would denounce it at any level of society, at school, at work, anywhere.

Moreover, because of such a lack of awareness of homosexuality, parents also consider this to be a sin. Even they prefer to cut off any ties with their child simply because they're homosexual. But the thing is it's a natural incident that is seen not only among humans, but also among animals.

It is extremely important to look at this kind of situation from a scientific point of view and not through a cultural perspective. Everyone needs to understand that homosexuality is not unnatural.

It is questionable how society can be ruined by seeing a woman show her love for another woman, or a man love another man. Whether you hate them, or if you make fun of them, you are still in the Stone Age. It reflects your weakness in social reading. Today's society   , there are many gay couples who are much more in love than heterosexual families who convince society that they live a very good family life. 

Judge less. And welcome the love. It will make the world more beautiful!
